Abya Yala | Asociación Cultural para las Artes Escénicas

El Teatro Abya Yala, dirigido desde su fundación en 1991 por Roxana Avila y David Korish, es un teatro independiente residente en Costa Rica dedicado a crear trabajos escénicos originales. Además de hacer espectáculos, mantener espacios de entrenamiento e investigación, dar talleres, conferencias y seminarios a nivel nacional e internacional, se mantiene activo en el campo de la producción y promoción de actividades artísticas y culturales en Costa Rica y Centroamérica.

Teatro Abya Yala is an independent theatre company based in Costa Rica dedicated to creating original works of theatre. It has been directed by Roxana Avila and David Korish since they founded the company in 1991. In addition to making performances and maintaining a place of training and investigation, Abya Yala has been active in the field of production and promotion of cultural/artistic activities in the sector of independent arts in Costa Rica and Central America
